newbie down down list problems

Hi all

This may sound trivial but is there a way to do the following. Basically i have a dropdown list listing 5 items.

when the user picks one of these items i want to be able to redirect him/her to a different web page.

The thing I'm having a problem with is linking the dropdown list selection to the http address

any ideas??
