Hey Everyone,
Newbie question:
I have a NEC elite phone system that I am trying to figure out.
I have an extension that has two did numbers assigned to it and I want to remove one of those did numbers from it.
I thought it could be done in DID conversion tables lk1-lk1-22.
What is the proper way to remove this second did number from this extension and also how do you add an did to an extension?
Thanks.

1-1-22 is the DID conversion table. Have you done it for day and night mode in 1-1-22? Does the extension number match the DID? You might try changing the extension number in 4-10 for the second line.

hey Belevedere,
I checked and found that I did not set it up the same for day and night. reread the manual and figured it out.
I checked 4-10 and had nothing assigned to it for any stations.

Next question:
How do I setup an analog port SLI to access an outside COI line and what class of service would be used?
For that matter what all steps do I follow to setup a multiline phone for a particuler extention?
What does Tenant mean? Attendant?
Is there a guide to all these terms somewhere?
Thanks!

Let me add to the above post that I may be wrong in calling the analog extention an SLI. Its a analog extention that I want to program to pick up an outside line and also add a DID number to it of which i think I have that part figured out.
