Hello all! I am trying to connect our shiny new linux server to the lan, and am failing miserably. The motherboard is Intel SE7320VPD2. I have Fedora Core release 1 on there. When I go to network config, I don't find an adapter that seems to fit. I went to Intel's website and found the seemingly applicable driver download. I've downloaded it to a CD, but once it's in the linux server, I am lost from there. I looked at the readme file, and tried out the tar command (tar xfvj install-???.tar.bz2). It gave me an error message "can't find file...".

Can someone please tell me what to do, once I've downloaded the driver? I've searched high and low for the answer on my own, but can't find it.

Thanks in advance!

What is the exact link to the driver package? That way one of us can give it a try.

I don't know why they tell you to extract install-???.tar.bz2 when the file that they offer to download is called marvell-88e8050_linux_v8.16.2.3.tar.bz2. Anyway, it sounds like you have already extracted that bundle if you were able to read the README? If not, try

[tt]tar xvfj marvell-88e8050_linux_v8.16.2.3.tar.bz2
cd DriverInstall
./install.sh
(choose option 1)[/tt]
