Hello!
I have 2 servers, one is the PDC and has NATs on it putting all Terminal Services stuff on the other server.
I am trying to get VPN to work. I don't mind which server is the VPN server, (ideally the non PDC server.). The PDC has 2 NIC's. One goes to the LAN, the other goes off to a dedicated router which is plugged into a always on ISDN connection.
The problem I am having is that if I use NATs to translate packets to the non-PDC server it authenticates, but then comes back saying the server did not respond. If I try to use the PDC it doesn't even get that far and just bails out "unable to connect" error.
The non-PDC server has got an old ISDN card and modem installed which are no longer used. This allows me to configure ports as RRAS can see connection devices. The PDC has nothing installed on it so I cannot configure any VPN ports.
My real question is will this work?! On either Server? Can VPN's be router through 2 routers? (The first dedicated router, then to the PDC which I would like to route to the non PDC server.)
Thanks
Steve Hewitt
