I just replaced a GATM Analog Trunk Mod with a T-1 DTM card. The incoming and outgoing lines ar working fine. Line061-072 (we are splitting ther rest of the channels of a t-1 of data so I de-provisioned the inactive lines). The active lines show up as enabled and they function fine however I am having a strange Auto Attendant issue. Each of the lines are part of an inbound hunt group and I need each of them to go to the Auto Attendant. When I program the Call Pilot Auto Attendant feature to answer with 0 rings and the only outgoing message (which worked fine for the previous analog numbers)when you call the main number it gets the following message " Im sorry , you have reached an invalid extension" .. it will not go to the Primary Greeting. Its the same voice prompt ou get when you dial in a Nortel and press an invalid extension. Can someone tell me what to do? Can someone also tell me whether I should have my incoming lines programmed to answer Auto or Manual if I want the lines to be picked up by the Auto Attendant..Thanks for any help

If you use DID for incoming calls you will need the lines set to auto.

If the lines are set to auto and the main number is 555555 you will need a target line set up with the public received number matching the amount of digits sent in by the network provider.

If the network provider is sending 4 you will need you first target line 241 with the public received set to 5555.

You need to program the AA to answer line 241 like you programed you analogue line before.
