I recently installed and configured Apache to run on my home PC running WIN98. I have been able to get everything to work okay so far (website hosting and password security) except being able to FTP from work to my home pc. I cannot find any clear documentation, which leads me to believe it is very easy, but I am just missing something. Please help.

Hi,

You don't mention any details of what ftp server you are using so I wonder if you have a such as server installed. Windows is certainly not shipped with one and Apache does not provide that functionality. If you don't have one try --> .

Then you just need a ftp client from the other end and point it to your server's IP address.

Apache is only a webserver (I made that mistake also at one point :~/). So you will need an FTP server to serve your files. Mike Wills
