Newbie ASP question - what is the "?" seen in the URL for ASP pages

First, you might want to post this question in the ASP forum and not inthe ASP.NET. In anycase the ? is a key that implies that what follows ia a Query String Parameter.

index.asp?userid=me

it's a cheap effective way to pass parameter from one page to the other. To obtain such result just set your form method to GET and add some input tags. It's not that difficult to learn how it's used.
