We have a Linux RH server that our corporate office sent and I was wondering how to add users to groups, IE the smbusers group. I have used the useradd (I think this is the command, it's in my book at the office)command to add them to the system, but I cannot add them to the smbusers group. And how would I remove a user from the system completely? My corporate IT can do it remotely, but they won't tell me how it's done, even though I'm the Network Admin at my office. Thanks,

Matt Wray

Matt,

useradd has a -g <groupname> option to add users to the appropriate group. HTH.
