Is there a role or something (like db_datareader) that allows a user to execute all user-defined stored procedures?

Apart from dbo?

You will have to give the user role permission on the SPs.
You can run a script to do it if you wish.

Usually in th ecreate script for the SPs you would include the grant statement.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy.

Apart from dbo?"

Yeah. I'm trying to crank down security pretty tight for a website I'm building, so I'm using Windows authorization and a restricted user account for access.

Thanks for the help, Nigel.
