When I go to open a new word document the text "test files" is present. I can delete that and begin typing my document but each time I go to open a new document the text "test files" is in it. How do I get rid of this?

2nd issue: In Outlook some of the emails that are sent to one of my co-workers are unable to be read. When you open the email it is all code (appears to be HTML). This only happens when we receive mail from a certain customer.
Is this an issue on the customers end? Or is there something I can do?

I have ran an office repair and also an office re-install neither of which fixes these problems.

Re your first issue, you need to edit your normal.dot template.

1. Open Word and go File ->close all to close all documents.

2. Using Explorer locate the Normal.dot template, right click on it, and then click open. DO NOT double click on it as this will only bring up a copy of it. You will know if it is the correct one because it will be titled Microsoft Word - Normal.dot instead of Microsoft Word - Document 1.

3. Delete the text "test files" and save the document.

4. Go File ->close and then File -> exit. When you reopen Word the "test files" text should be gone.

Re your second issue, you might get a better response if you posted it as a separate item in the E-Mail issues forum.

HTH.

Cheers.
