New win2000 server

in the process of installing a win2000 server. my current network is a Nt 4.0, how can i get the domain users to the new win 2000 box. i want to run to 2000 server with the nt4servers but will want to pull the current pdc (nt4)out of the picture soon.

serveral people have asked how to migrate users and i haven't heard of or seen any quick way. how many users do you want to move?

There's a free utility from Microsoft called Active Directory Migration Tool, ADMT for short. It's available for download from MS's website, just go to

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/

and do a text search for ADMT on windows 2000, and all downloads since it's older than 12 months. It will migrate your users, groups, machine accounts, and more. Marc Creviere
