Hello all...
I just ran across the neatest thing...
It was an advertisement, a web page, that has VCR buttons at bottom, and when you click the > button, the pages flip sorta like book, or a juke box when you hit either > or
<. Does anyone know what this technology is called?

On the front screen, it looks like a whole page, then once you press the > button, it appears like a book! I am really interested in finding out how to do this...but do not know wht to search on...

Thanks in advance for all your help!
Angie

It's probably a java applet. There are a couple of other programs out there that claim to be able to do this but I haven't seen one yet that can "flip" the page smoothly.

No doubt that time will change this in the future. There's always a better way...

hey tviman-
I was thinking it was a java applet, but wasnt sure, because it looked just like a webpage... I'll keep looking and if I find out more I will let you know. Thanks

hello bigbaddave....
yes..like that but instead of having to drag the page open, it has VCR buttons...
<< < > >> to flip through, and on the 1st page, it halso has links that could take you to the middle of the 'book' if you needed to go there...
neat!

I need to find it..as soon as i do, I'll post it...
thanks
