I am a new VPN user. I loaded the software my employer gave me on CD. It was fairly simple. I get a screen that says I'm connected. After that I was instructed to open IE v.6 or greater and type in an IP address I get to the correct page. I select the server I wan't and the screen size if not full screen and then there is a connect button. The connect button seems active. I click on it and it reacts but nothing happens. At this point I believe I should be seeing the loading of my account at work and a new screen to access my files at work but still nothing. I've looked at the statistics menu and it appears as if I'm connected but I can't see anything happening. The VPN statistics menu shows me how many bytes have been rec'd and sent etc. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Do I not have something loaded? I've looked all over and I can't find anything. Most of the pages that I see refer to setting up IP addresses, clicking VPN in control panel, dial up networking, etc. but I don't need any of that according to my IS help people. Also, in my system tray, is an icon telling me "VPN Client - Connected". It "seems" to be something related to the "Connect" but like it isn't activating something. I either don't have something loaded or well...I have no idea.

This is what I have.

Windows ME
IE 6.0.2...
RoadRunner Cable modem

If you need more information please let me know.\

Thank you!!!!!!
