I am desing a new network. I need help, suggestion feedback for the new design.
With the below design in mind how to setup VPN so that user from one site connect to other site using secure VPN Tunnel?
How to connect from home to site1 and site2?
If I put ISA server on both side what are my option?
If I dont put ISA Server on both side what are my option
NETWORK DESIGN
offices in two location MI and IL
50 Users and 10 servers in MI
25 Users in IL
We need to have exchange server, sql server, Terminal server,ISA server, File server etc.
users from IL needs access to data in MI and vice versa.
we have T1 connection both end.
IL network needs to be on particual subnet (191.9.214) as they will be accessing application and data from some other company and that's the reason they are on that particular subnet.
This what I thought of design
One forest and one domain controller in MI and replica of domain controller in IL
two sites (MI and IL)
put MI DC in MI site and IL DC in IL site.
how to make connection between two location over WAN?
Data Accessed more for MI users resides on File server in MI
and
Data Accessed more for IL users resides on File server in IL
what if I use DFS will it replicate all data to each location over WAN, how often, is it good idea or can go with other option.
Exchange I will install on MI as most of the use is from MI users, IL users use it but at IL location they use outlook for other company's email. they might be able to use OWA but any other better option so that they can open two outlook at same time? As OWA has many restriction and and it's not almost close to outlook.
