Hey Everybody :]
Well we finally got a new Voicemail PC so we can replace our old crappy one and use our old one as a backup (horray). Anyway, I installed Windows, voicemail pro, and everything I thought I needed onto the new PC, changed the computers IP address to match our old VMPRO PC, put the feature key in… restored the config of our old voicemail pro onto the new (and copied the .wav files and everything from the old pc to the new pc into the right directories) However, even after restarting everything (phone system, the PC etc.) I can never get it to work. If you press *17 (voicemail shortcode) on your phone handset it shows “My name” on my handset display like it does normally but you never hear the voicemail menu play or hear any options it’s just dead silence and it starts counting seconds... do you know why that would be? I just plugged the old one back in for now after waiting like 10 mins so I'm fine for now…. Just wondering if you guys know where I missed a configuration step cuz I'm not sure...
PS. I'm using VMPRO 3.2 (28) with IP403's on version 3.2 (53) if that's helpful.
Thanks! :]
