New voice mail on DBS 96

We have a new customer that has an existing DBS-96 with a PC based "Panavoice" voice mail. It appears to be using SMDI integration.

We want to replace the voice mail with another PC based voice mail, however the new voice mail does not support serial inegration.

Is there a way to program the DBS to use "In-Band" DTMF integation instead of SMDI?
