I hope someone can help me really quick. Last night I was downloading from Kazaa and for once I didn't scan the file first. As I installed the program, my Norton 2003 popped up wirth a Virus Alert. My son saw the 'OK' button and hit it before I could catch the name. He hit the button again which tells me that the file could not be repaired and access was denied. Both red screens. My PC went to hell from that point on. It was shutting down without notice. I got it to boot in safe mode and checked the virus log. It was empty. I know it should have had something in there at least. Now my PC doesn't even boot. It won't post at all. I get a red screen sometimes. Sometimes I get a blue screen with crazy characters all over the place. I'm hping my BIOS didn't get flashed or something. Can't afford another motherboard right now. I need some ideas and I need them quick. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
