new version of paradox?

Corel is publishing its new version wordperfect X3. In the professional edition, Paradox is part of it.

Does someone know, wether this is a new edition compared to edition 10?

I haven't heard a word about an actual new version.

And I'd think that Corel would make some noise if they had actually put something new (other than bugs) into a version of Paradox.

Course, their track record says they may well not say anything even if it is a complete rewrite.

You wish. Bugs it is. Paradox is pretty much the stepchild of Corel. I wonder if they are going to have Paradox for sale, if it is indeed included, or just licensed. (dumb idea) I got the pre ad and it promised me a t shirt if I buy early. That'll work, ummh hmmm.

I asked Corel directly. They told me that in professional edition Paradox 11 is encluded.

Is this included as full software, or with a yearly usage fee, as it seems to have been before?

I have been looking for P10, with little luck (see next posting) and come up with a lot on X3 (the new version), but there isn't a single mention of Paradox in any of the sites or literature. I think it's been essentially dropped.

Paradox is always there as part of the Professional version.

No, they don't market Paradox any more.

No annual fee.
