I have a customer that has a location about 30 miles out of town. Today we get him local dialtone with a "grand-fathered" FX service. We need to add more lines. We have considered RCF but the customer wants FX dialtone. Could I have the local telco supply a PRI to a local closet and then rent a T-1 from that closet to the our of town location? Could I not just put the local pri into the LD t-1 and extend the PRI to the remote location?

I WOULD CHECK INTO A NON CHANNELIZED T1 POINT TO POINT, THEN JUST PUT YOU CHANNEL BANKS AT EACH END. THAT FX LINE GOT TO BE COSTING A FORTUNE. YOU COULD ALSO RUN DATA ON THE OTHER CHANNELS

sounds like a good place for a line side t1.. we have several of those, programs in the main loc as analog stations and in the keysystem on the far end, it looks like any other inbound t1,,, mine is meridian to norstar but any big switch offers line side... way cheaper, another thought is voip, state of the art and prices are going down.. haven't touched an fx in decades
