New user not showing up in GAB

Hi, We recently upgraded from 2000 to exchange 2007. Everything went smooth.. thank god.. now i created a new mailbox on the exchange 2007 server using the management console. The problem is the mailbox is now showing up in the Global Address Book. Any help would be appreciated.

I will assume you mean "not showing up", what is your current environment? Outlook 2007? If so are you able to download your OAB without a hitch (setup SSL for this feature on the client machines)? I am asking this as you may need to manually update the OAB if this is where your problem is coming from as it by default updates once every 24hrs

Check if you turn off cached mode and see if the user is in the GAL. More than likely you will find they are. Rebuild the OAB and download that to a system running in cached mode and you should see the user.
