I just started learning Paradox 9 and ObjectPal Im not to keen on writing code. Does anyone know where I could go other than the tutorial for Code scripts or help on how to learn code and ObjectPal. Thanks

Keystone has a set of training video on Paradox 8. I think it would be a good start.

Unfortunately, there are no books on ObjectPAL anymore, except what comes with the software. You should be able to get some used books. Check your local used book stores or search on-line. You should be able to find some.

The ObjectPal Reference located in the pull-down menu under Help, is excellently written. It provides you with example code that you can cut and paste into your programs.

In my opinion, the best reference book on the market for learning ObjectPal was:

Title: Programming Paradox 5 for Windows
Author: Jensen, Cary
Publisher: Sybex
ISBN: 0782115934

Even though I am currently using version 9, I still refer to the Sybex book from time to time. ObjectPal was never rewritten only added to. Syntax, methods and properties examples listed in the book can be used in any ObjectPal code from version 5 on.

Although the book is out of print, you may be able to get a copy from

There's also a good book written by Mike Prestwood called "Paradox 9 Power Programming: The Official Guide" It's Published by Osborne-MCGraw Hill. I know Mike maintains very close relationships with Corel re: PAradox and is well-informed about it. YOu can get it at his website:
