Hello everyone,

Im new to these forums, and also to using Flash. I am currently finishing off my degree, as part of which I have made a large 3d model of a site os historical interest.

I am being contracted after the end of my course, to take my videos files and integrate them with a website, adding an interactive element to them. The first bit of software that popped to mind was Flash.

Its a pretty simple idea for what I need to do, I am just, as a newcomer, checking with some experts to see if Flash is 100% capable of doing what I need.

The video files will stop at certain points, at which time some info will be displayed, a "continue with vid" button, and importantly a link button needs to pop up in the flash video file that will lead to deeper information. This is the only thing I am concerned about - when I create my flash video, can it handle that - a button that will pop up at a predetermined time that holds a link to a standard content pgae of the website? Or can flash videos only deal with functionality specifically dealing with the video files and not things like web links.

Any info would be fantastic.

Thanks
John

You can use actionscript in the frames that you want to control with popups or hyperlinks.
