New User - CR v8.5 Report Deployment

I am new to Crystal Reports and find it a very useful tool to export data from my Domino database. I now have a nice collection of reports that I would like my network users to use for themselves.

How can I deploy read only versions of the reports that I have designed? I thought that it might be as easy as copying the report file to their PC and installing some kind of runtime to their PC.

Am I right in thinking that I have to setup an enterprise server to do this?

Crystal Enterprise actually allows you deploy reports in this maner over an intranet
Set up CE and you can allow users to 1) refresh the data themselves putting in parameters or you could schedule reports and let users consume those read only
