I had an unwanted and unsolicited URL get written into the browser memory of my home computer's Mozilla Firefox. By that I mean, when I clicked on the drop down button beside the address line up on top, there was a URL listed in there for a site I had not visited.

I have been getting unwanted pop-ups through my Firefox browser for several weeks. I used not to get any. I think I am not on the current version of Firefox.

Anybody every had any experience with an unsolicited URL getting written into Firefox' browser memory?
