New unheard messages dissappear 1

BCM50 Rls 6 - new install

This happens to only one user and they so happen to be the only one setup for Unified Messaging.

20 messages lost first time so I deleted the mailbox and rebuilt....same issue 2 days later and lost a couple messages.

Any thoughts?
I do have a patches schedule for tonight but no mentions of the issue.

Curly, can you check the rules in the e-mail application to see if they have one set up to delete the messages on the BCM after it is delivered to the e-mail server? Also insure they aren't being copied to another address where the recipient is deleting them.
 
Pretty sure messages are appearing at both CP and Outlook and that messages not forwarded but I have asked any way to double check.

Upgrade went well but same issue.

Message Forwarding is not setup or accessible to play with in My Call Pilot Manager.

UM wizard was setup to Share Inbox instead of Own Folder

More info

Client left test message last Friday, went to check and no message.
Left another message and it was there.

Today they say somebody left a message but the client never got it....so much for patch fixing.

Then I spoke with original tech to see if anything out of ordinary.....he stedt issue with Table 1 and Attendant DN not working, so he used Table 4 instead since company B using 2.

This is looking like corruption.

If we did a backup then restore what are the odds the backup does not backup the corruption?
I am thinking it wouldn't somehow.

Did you install the lates desktop as well as the SU? I haven't had much luck with a corrupted data base- seems like restored database contains the corruption but you don't have much to lose by trying. I would at least try deleting the box and recreating first.
 
Mailbox was already re-created.
Yes all patches except the new Russian DST one.


I have FTP backup scheduled so will try a restore, then will look at the table issue and see if that got fixed.

Otherwise reinstall on a new install is next after that.

Client said to hold off on uninstalling UM, seems that Outlooks is getting the messages and not being deleted, it is not clear if since day one or since patches however the messages on Callpilot are still being deleted.

I assume an auto delete rules has been made somewhere.

So question would be who controls this auto delete rule? BCM or Outlook or possibly both?

Update
Not able to confirm issue, instead of reinstalling UM so that it is showing as a separate folder to see if it then works we instead just went with Desktop Forwarding.

Make sure you have the leave messages on server checked in Outlook.
Under Tools, accounts, properties, advanced.
