New Tungsten E--trying to sync Outlook Express Address Book

When I bought my Tungsten E, it never occurred to me that I might not be able to sync my Outlook Express address book.

The information at

mentions Outlook Express which gave me a tiny inkling that I might be able to do this. However, I was unable to make it work with even just mail and emailed palm tech support.

Their response"
"You will need to purchase an application called Jibe® from Chapura® if you wish to synchronize any data between Outlook® Express® and your handheld"

Small problem with this:

Heavy sigh. Anyone have any ideas on how I can synch my OE address book?

I don't think Intellisync works with Outlook, and am almost positive that Beyond Contacts (from DataViz doesn't). Unless someone else has a better idea, you might want to just upgrade to Outlook (you can easily import everything from Outlook Express to Outlook).

I wanted to let everyone know that I found software that works beautfilly and highly recommend it. It is dpSync and can be found at

The software installed and configured easily and worked right out of the chute (the Plam software was not this easy). I installed the freeware version, and it's excellent.

Is Beyond Contacts really worth it? The Contacs application that comes with the Palm is a little short for me.
