Hi everyone, this is growing VERY frusterating!

I have ONE WYSE terminal here (not a POCKET PC!), it's running WinCE. I am evaluating it as all of our previous Thin Clients have WinNT or XP embedded on them... and they have thier own issues.

I have had this thing on my desk for 2 days now... HOW DO YOU JOIN A DOMAIN!!!??? am i missing something here!!!???

i am also trying to connect to a citrix server. I am successfull in connecting to the WHOLE desktop (not desired) but when trying to connect to published applications i get "you are not authorized to logon to this session??!!"

WTF? and everywhere i go for documentation or support it is referring to a POCKET PC!!. even Microsoft's own site is pathetic in regards to support on this embedded OS. this forum is the only place that even comes close.

anyway with that off my chest, i am afraid that winCE is failing miserably here for what we need, not user friendly, not intuitive and no documentation/support anywhere? i am not a developer, i am not on a pocket pc, i am just someone whole unpacked a terminal and wants it to join a *?!$*& Domain!

Unless someone on these forums can enlighten me , or inform me that i am expecting WinCE to perform in an area where it was not meant, its life in this org will be very short lived.

thanks for letting me rant.
cheers

Well, I have a Win CE emulator here as part of Visual Studio. In the network settings there are no options for joining a domain so I guess that it's not possible to join a domain with a Win CE device (at least not on CE.Net version 4.1).
