Hello, Can some one guide me on how to obtain an entry level Job in the unix field?. I have taken a Solaris System Admin course and will be taking the part 1 exam soon.
I do know obtainning a job as a system Administrator without experience if far fetch. As such I know that I have to start as an entry level personell.
Anyhelp will be greatly appreciated.

I managed to get my job as a unix-administrator, without having any experience. all you have to do is master your verbal qualities :)
I told them I had done some configuration in linux. evidently that´s everything they needed. I now walk along the company´s unix-guru and try learning as much about the systems that I can.
My tips are. Have you worked some with linux, mention it. The systems (unix/linux) have very much in common. Don´t be afraid to exaggerate a little.

exaggerate is the KEY here.

As long as you know the basics, getting your foot in the door should be know problem. I would recommend you learn basic shell programming. Bourne, C, AWK, maybe perl

Solaris seems to be a good platform to start with. [sig]<p>-Danny<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br><br>
