Hi,

My company has just decided to invest heavily in Unicenter suite of products ranging from Unicenter NSM , SPO, NPO, to Asset Management and Web related tools.

I would be a part of the implementation team. However, I am not very familiar with Unicenter. I am not sure where to start from inorder to enhance my knowledge on the product from beyond the Product brochures.

Anyone who has some interesting start up documents on Unicenter for a newcomer like me?

The PDFs on the CDs are a good place to start - the various Agent manuals, Working With Agents, and the Admin guide.

BBSs such as this one or Apsion's are also good, when you have questions to be answered.

User groups should also be a key part of your education - look at FLCAUG for one good example, or CA User Groups for a full list.

Finally, and I can't stress this enough, the BEST place to get more information is the training. UN210 should be required for beginner administrators, and UN275 for implementors. There is a lot missing from the documentation, and these classes will go into those areas in-depth with an instructor who knows it.
