Hello all,

I haven't used Sharepoint before and have undertaken the task of setting up a call logging system within the site. This does not have to be complicated. Here are my goals with it:

- Log who has the case.
- Log start date and resolution date.
- Log issue details.
- Log resolution details.

Now I don't really know where to start. Are there plugin style items for Sharepoint that I should use here, are there built-ins that I can use to store this information.

I just don't want to store this in the wrong place and make exports, reports (in the future, maybe) a complete nightmare to achieve.

If you have any links to "Sharepoint at a glance" style articles to give me a quick review of the system that you more experienced Sharepoint devs recommend, that would be much appreciated too.

Thanks,

Slobad
