Hi there,

I'm new to SPS2003, just wondering if it can support https access for usage & management?

As KB831106 said it didn't support ssl termination, but I'm not quite sure what's ssl termination. Say if the SPS2003 server is behind firewall, & the firewall do 1-to-1 static nat for the sps, & opening port 443 for outside access mapped to sps, in this case will it work?

Many thanks!

it can support SSL for the reasons asked above.

just install a certificate on the virtual server in IIS on which you run your portal on (or only the administration website, or both)

it's just IIS configuration, you don't need to do anything within the portal

hope this helps
