new to site, qustion about database and members list

Hello all

I'm trying to add a members list to my sons paintball site. Does anyone know of any tutorials on how to do this from start to finish(creating the database,linking,making the regisration form) and while im at it also a mess. board for comments and suggestions? If anyone has anything on this please let me know Thanks you your time.

You will need a server capable of handling asp or php script.
I suggest asp
For this youll need a copy of Microsoft Access to create the database(its about like excel create a table name the fields tell Access what will be in fields ie. "text" "date")
