I hope all is well... I need a little help with configuring my share point to user SQL 2000 instead of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine... I have tried to configure my site to use Microsoft SQL Server 2000 however I have had no luck. Would you happen to know where I can find some step-by-step instructions?

Hello,
when you do the installation, chose to install it as a serverfarm (even if you have a single machine), that will allow you to configure it to use SQL 2000 instead of the MSDE.
A good place to start is the Adminstrators guide
Or do you allready have sharepoint installed with MSDE and you want to re-configure it to be in SQL 2000?
If that is the case, take a look at
