My road-reps. need to be able to access files on my server from any location, via the Internet.

My intent is to purchase a SnapAlliance 2200 and put it behind a simple Router (Netgear FVS318) on my LAN.
I will start leasing a static IP address from my cable company (which I assume will be assigned to the Router)
My question is: will I need a second static IP address for the SnapAppliance or will I be able to route the ftp request to the server with that single IP address.

Or..... I'm I totally off with my thinking

Thanks

I would personally suggest using a NAS device with a valid IP address instead of devoting a SAN appliance and a router to this purpose.
