Hello Guys!
I just would like to know what are the pre requisites so I can connect to an Oracle Database. Do I need to install an Oracle client or can I just download an odbc driver?
As a backgrounder, I am using a SQL 2000 Database and will try to access Oracle data and copy to SQL.

If you wish to connect from SQL Server 2000 to an Oracle database, an ODBC driver should be enough. There certainly is no penalty (except a bit of disk space) in installing the Oracle client either.

I was trying to access an Oracle Database thru Access ODBC. However, when I try to open the a table in Access (linked thru ODBC in Oracle) I got distorted records. Most of them indicates #deleted. Anybody have an idea what might went wrong?

Thanks!
