Hello friends,

I'm new to the Nortel router world and need some help...I need to know the equivalent Cisco commands for the Nortel ARN and BCN routers just for basic info...what are the commands for the following:

show run
show ip route
show ip int brief
show ip route static
show frame relay pvc
sho frame relay map

thanks---

Hi

Get on to the box and use the help system. It's not unlike Cisco. The general syntax is :

help <return> for a command list

help <command><return> for the specifics of the caommand itself.

I don't have a router here to try, but off the top of my head you can use:

show config
show ip routes
show ip circuits
show ip static

for the first four of the commands you were looking for.

Hope this helps
EB

You need to run the above commands from BCC. Once in BCC if you do a show ? this will tell what commands are available.

you can view frame relay commands from the bcc using show frame relay ?
