New to .NET with dll question

Hi,

New to ASP .NET, and new to web programming (last 2 years) and I am trying to get some exposure so that I can switch my current web site over to it. I am having some problems understanding some things and wondered if someone could help me.

I have a web site that, dlls (written in VB6), Btrieve database, SQL Server, and stored procedures. I am not sure how web services and the dlls have to change or relate. I am not really sure how to explain it, but could someone inform me is there a easier way than modifying my dlls, compiling, and reregistering them with MTS with .Net?
