This is my first time working with MS SQL Server, so sorry if i sound kinda dumb.

Is there some one that could walk me through the Installation of MS SQL Server 2000? I tried to install it but am having problems getting it to work... I am not sure on how to set up the server. I am currently running this on WinXP.

I get this:

An Error 1069-(The service did not start due to logon failure.) Occured while performing this service operation on the MSSQL Server Service.

Thanks in advanced!

Sounds like your typing in the wrong password when you tell it what account to use to start the server. Also make sure that you use the format "DOMAIN\Username" when entering the username.
