New to Mecator

Hello. I am trying my best to learn a bit about Mecator before I am trown to the wolves at work with it. Can anyone tell me where I can find some information, examples, or a tool to learn it hands on! Thanks for any help you can give me.

First of all, I want to clarify the type of Mercator programming you are trying to learn. Is this the Mercator translation software that used to be put out by TSI International?

Looking through the rest of the user group, I realized that this was indeed the translation software Mercator. I've been using Mercator since 1985 and still don't know all there is to it, but I'll try to help as much as possible.

As far as information, the Help - Contents information is probably your best bet. TSI International, the original creators of Mercator are no longer supporting that software, so those of us that insist on using it are basically on our own.

Once you get the hang of it, or the basics, it's not very difficult. I tried teaching myself, and it took a few months before it clicked. Once I figured out the concept, the rest was a piece of cake.
