New to Legato

Where is the file that I would use to set up the email notifications?

I want to be notified of failed jobs etc..

Where would that be? I am TOTALLY new at Legato.
Is there a config file that holds that information? I have replaced someone who was the Legato person and he didn't leave much documentation.

An admin GUI is available where you do most configuration steps. Although NW did not really change, this GUI did. So which version are you using?

OK. Once you logged into NMC and proceeded to the NW Admin program, you will find the notifications in the Configurations screen ... and there in the resource tree.

I don't have an X session to my machine. only command line.

Do i need to Gui to do it?

Outch. No, you can use nsradmin as well. However, there is no documentation and the usage is by far more cryptic, just to mention 2 major issues.

Sorry, but the best is to get access to a web browser. Assuming NMC is properly installed with default settings, you can then connect via "

http://servername:9000".
