New to HTML

Hi All,
I am doing minor edits to a website for a friend that someone else created. I want to take an image off of the main page but the code for the image is grayed out. Can anyone tell me how to access the code. Thank you in advance.

This is the code I want to access.

What are you using to edit the page.

HTML does not support editable/non-editable regions.
This is a feature that some software creates by using normal HTML comments to turn editing on and off.

If you try to edit the page using a conventional text editor you will be able to edit it all with no restrictions.

It appears this is a template based page so this is actually a Dreamweaver related question.

Bsically there should be a file that has a dwt extension. You need to edit the template file itself to be able to modify the non-editable regions. Once you edit that file, Dreaweaver will ask if you want to update all the pages that use that template, you must say yes.
