Getting ready for my first Exchange installation soon, and had a question. Company is moving to hosting their own IIS website as "companyname.com", and also wants to not change any of their current addresses, which are currently hosted by a third party and run "employee@companyname.com".

However, company is currently running DNS as "xx.com" locally. Is there a tool in Exchange so that they can keep their email addresses but integrate into their current active directory structure? I hate to have to rebuild it just to change their name.

Try the recipient update service to add the companyname bit and set them as default. That's it.
