This may seem like a stupid question but can I import several reports from Crystal into Enterpise so I can schedule them or do I have to pull in one at a time?? I tried the import wizard but can't seem to get that to work.

Have you tried the publishing wizard?

This is installed on the server, but you can install it locally from the CE cd.

Hi,
The import wizard is for importing from older versions of CE or Crystal Info, not for publishing new or existing CR Pro designed reports.

CE uses the term 'publish' to mean 'transferring' the reports to your CE web site ( it is actually doing more ( and less) than that - read the docs about the architecture and methods CE uses)..

The Publishing Wizard ( as noted , it is on the CD and should be installed on your workstation - it's a Windows app) is what is used to accomplish this.

General Editorial Note: CE is a complex system of inter-related components that does not lend itself to 'try it and see' - read all the docs you can find before doing much actual activity.

Have fun, anyway...

Aside from the Publishing wizard, there is an Excel based 3rd party product from APOS which can simplify life if you are in a dynamic publishing environment:

For avg. volume sites, I tend to publish reports directly from within Crystal Reports as you can overwrite existing reports and maintain most of the existing report's information (scheduling, output, etc.).

BTW, you should state your version info. in you want detailed answers.
