I have a question, I'm pretty new at this but am very computer savvy. My boss wants me to use crystal reports to generate some reports to determine commisions etc. From Peachtree I can export Accounts recievable data, with the appropriate fields to excel, access or whatever, but when i try to access these tables from Crystal Reports i cannot find the appropriate fields i am looking for. I look for the databases and go to the folder containing the company information, open up the files and find categories like General_AR. When i open these up I do not find the same fields as when i want to export. Where can i find the appropriate fields, or what am I missing here?

Bill

Hi Bill,

Dont know if this will help but I know Crystal uses the column headings in Excel to determine the field names - is your spreadsheet reflecting the original db field names as column headings?

Cheers,

Try a keyword search for Excel, though a lot of the threads will be for exports. Also try forum768 if you haven't already.
