New to CGI

I have a script I built using a tutorial today a web poll. Point being I own my own domain so I stashed the the cgi results page and the scripting for errors cgi page in my cgi-bin. I then proceeded to build a table with my questions and form actions though the script won't take me to the results page, nor will it allow a vote. Can anyone help?
