NEW TO BUSINESS OBJECTS! - INSTALLATION AND FIRST USE HELP!

Ive just installed business objects and cant seem to find any executable(s)...How do I set up business objects once it has been installed?

What version? Did you install on a server or a client?

If on a server, did you install Server products or Desktop products.

Have you read the Installation Guide?

You mean 5.1.4. Are you saying that it didn't create any icons in the start menu for you?

Your install didn't work. Deinstall and start over.

check for the installation folder
Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects 5.0

all exe files are under this folder.

you can manually create the link in start menu by creating link and copying to the correct folder under Documents and Settings.

There are still no .exe's in that folder even after a re-install............!!!!!!!!!

Does the BO Folder exists??? Only .exe files are missing or the folder itself is empty. Also check if the user has administrative rights on the PC he is installing to.
