Hi

We have an existing project that I am looking into to see how it works. I can open the update.dtsx file in MS Visual Studio. Under the Package explorer under executables I can see it links to some tables in SQL server and also creates a text file, per table. This is then place on a local drive for FTP during the evening.

What I am not sure is how it does this, how could I edit what it does, for instance if I have to change things.
Also is it possible to copy the project so I can save it locally so I do not corrupt the working project (which files do I need to copy)?

Any advise or pointers please

Thanks

I would suggest posting this in the forum dedicated to SSIS. Try Forum1555.
