I have a customer that needs a new system and I am thinking on proposing a BCM. Currently he has a Norstar CICS with 6 1FBs, 18 extensions, and a CP100.
I need to install a system that will handle a T1 with DIDs, have the keycodes and hardware for 30 phones, and 30 voice mail boxes. He also wants to be able to record some calls.
The most I see him expanding to in this building is 50 ext. and 50 voice mail boxes. Right now 30 is more than enough.
What size BCM should I quote for this? I am an old Norstar tech and I can do those very well. I have worked with the BCM 400 about 3 years ago and that was the last time I touched one. I have never installed a BCM 50.
As I remember the BCMs can be programmed through an Ethernet interface. I have done that before. How difficult would this be for the features listed above for a Norstar tech to do?
Thanks;
