hi i am trying to block long distance calling from 1 spacific DN i do not have any manuals and little experience with the bcm unit .....

how do i do this?
its a bcm 400 runing bcm 3.7

i just wanted to add.... local calls are 10 digits any long distance would requier more numbers the 10 if that helps in any way.

It is done using restriction tables which IIRC are set to 02 by default on the sets. There is a prebuilt restriction table of 01 that can be used to block LD. The recommended method is to copy that table to another, say 90 for example, and edit and use that one. FYI, that table also restricts 0 and 411 I believe and possibly some other so look it over and remove what doesn't apply. Also don't be alarmed by the 911, there is an exception to it as well so it can be dialed. You will need to add 866 as an exception to the 1 restriction as well. Hope this helps.

thank you very much, I was close but where it sayed digits i was trying to limit the amount of digits dialed....

but once you explained i had no problems, all works great thank you very much
