New to ASP

Hi there,

I'm not sure where to go on this.

What I want to do is, to create a list of users to access my intranet, and to create a password for them, then give them the chance to change it to their own choice.

However, I was hoping to do this via Javascript, but after looking into it, I have learnt that it's not at all secure, and I stumbled accross ASP.

So, can anyone help me on where to go, as I don't have a clue.

Any help much appreciated, even if it's just along the lines of above.

Will the passwords be hardcoded into the page or will you be using a Database to have them access.
